As a lady, menstrual
pain is something that really kills me; I become very emotional whenever the
time for my monthly period draws near. I hate to think about it as it threatens
to make me regret being a female.
Apart from the horrible
Pre-Menstrual Syndrome(PMS), which I experience, the flow is usually deadly
and I have to change pad every two to three hours from day 1- 3, making me use almost three packets of
Sanitary pads during each monthly cycle. However, the pains and flow gradually subsides
from the night of day 3.
Usually, before the
onset of the period, I experience heightened sexual desire, thick mucus
discharge, itching eyes and skin, insomnia, increase tempter, nauseating, mood
swing and sometimes restless leg syndrome. All these are usually hard on me as
they are not easy to handle.
When I was younger, I
would take a combination of After5 and Paracetamol, to be able to stay strong
and appear in school or public, later my doctor recommended the use of felvin
capsule, he recommended two weeks dose each month, I did this for some
months but decided on my own that it was dangerous to my health and then called
it quit.
I stop taking any drug and began to endure my
pains, this means no stepping out during menses, no going to school, no
cooking, the floor and bed becomes my companion as my body boils in pain. It was in this condition that I meet a young
man who told me the solution to my anguish was in coconut.
Treating menstrual
cramp with coconut is very easy, below are the steps,
- Before breakfast, break the coconut shell and collect the water in a glass.
- Drink the water and eat as much fruit as you can.
- Repeat step 1 and 2 during period every month, be sure to start from day1.
This is very easy and
effective and has help reduced my menstrual cramp and I am confident it will
help you.
